BKS has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for the Italian territory for the entire range of medical imaging sources produced by Picorad.

PICORAD manufactures customized sources for the calibration of positron emission tomography (PET) scanners.
The sources are designed to be compatible with equipment from manufacturers such as General Electric Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, and others. Through PICORAD, BKS is also available to collaborate on the development of new sources upon request. For inquiries and quotations, please contact our sales department.

The list of sources distributed by BKS includes:

• Phantoms and linear sources (Ge-68);

• Dose calibrator reference sources (Co-57, Cs-137, Ba-133, Ge-68);

• Spot markers / point sources (Co-57, Cs-137, Ge-68);

• Rod sources (Co-57, Cs-137, Ba-133, Ge-68);

• Pen point markers (Co-57, Ba-133).
